SANEWA Events

​SANEWA members commit to adding value to the lives of seniors in our community by participating in fundraising and volunteer events.  These events give members the chance to assist and interact with seniors, provide them meals, give them needed supplies, information, or just-for-fun gifts, raise funds for senior-oriented causes, and more!

Spring Cleanup

This Spring, SANEWA will follow-up to last fall's cancelled Rake N Run with a cleanup on Friday, May 5th.

Cooking for a Cause

​The 2023 version of Cooking for a Cause is moving to October! Make plans to attend this festive event on Friday, October 20th!

Rake 'N Run

Autumn brings a layer of leaves, but for many seniors, this creates a hazard  they simply cannot deal with. SANEWA members will be raking and running from home to home on Friday, November 3rd!

Alzheimer's Walk

SANEWA Gift Wrap Party
The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® raises awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. SANEWA members fundraise & attend the Walk. 
Family and fun make the holidays bright, but our retirement communities have residents that spend the season without visitors or gifts. SANEWA members donate, wrap, and deliver tidings of joy! This year, it's Tuesday, December 19th
