SANEWA members have the opportunity to join volunteer committees. Each committee is tasked with spear-heading a specific area of the group's activities and community efforts.
Speakers Bureau Help facilitate and schedule speakers for our monthly meetings. Topics should be beneficial to those that serve seniors and members of SANEWA. There are a variety of topics you can cover - community resources, elder law, financial advisors, marketing/networking ideas, etc.
Events Committee Help coordinate events throughout the year that benefit seniors in the Spokane community, including the Summer BBQ, Rake 'N Run, Alzheimer’s Walk and more!
Membership Committee Review application of new members to assure commitment to SANEWA. Give approved application to Treasurer so that invoice can be sent out. Facilitate and oversee the Membership Mentors program.
Fundraising Committee Participate in fundraising efforts throughout the year, including the Lasagna Feed and Cooking for a Cause and other fundraising activities.
PR/Photography Committee Help promote upcoming events and fundraisers in the community, as well as photographing major events and fundraisers. Create and maintain visual documentation of SANEWA efforts and achievements. Website/Social Media Committee Help facilitate and build new website in conjunction with Web Designer Bryan Kjosa. Maintain website with updates and changes when applicable.
